I got tired
of reading repetitive posts on Leo's Forum
about this damn case and thought I would try and settle all the fuss about
the Caselogic
PSC-1.
Every week somebody starts a 'Best case for the P?' thread, hopefully this page will answer some of your questions. For those that don't know, the PSC-1 is manufactured in America by Caselogic Ltd. and is in fact designed to carry the Sony Playstation PSOne games console (plus accessories). It is not officially available in Europe but can be found in America at CompUSA. So, I fired up Dreamweaver (on my P, of course) and knocked up this quick page which is intended to be a 'Visual Review' of this cute little case. Before I go any further I would like to point out that this case will not suit everybody, it is (in my opinion) much better than the crappy Fujitsu 'slip case' and also much better than 'The Pouch'. Why? Well because this case is padded all round, has an adjustable shoulder strap, is made of tuff 'Cordura' type material, like everything else made by Caselogic, is bombproof (no, I don't work for them...) and holds more stuff. If you are looking for a case that will take just your 'P' and a bunch of stuff like mains bricks etc. then this is the case for you. If you carry a whole load of other stuff (like college books, projectors, external drives) then go buy a massive Targus case and stop dissing the PSC-1... |

I am not going
to write a long review about this case, just click the pictures below
and decide for yourself.
What did I fit in my Caselogic PSC-1? Main Compartment P2020 Lifebook Front Pocket Mains Brick Power Cord Kensington USB 'Pocket Mouse' D-Link DFE-680 TXD Cardbus LAN Adapter 3m CAT5 Network Cable USB Cable (for Digicam) Motorola V50 Cellphone Back Pocket CDRW (in jewel case) All this stuff fits easily and you could squeeze in a few extra bits if you wanted, the front pocket is kind of 'gusseted' so it expands quite a bit, you could also fit a few more flat things in the back pocket. |
