| This current version
of pOoTer's pSycheDelic shacK,
that sits amongst a million other dimly lit stars in The Void has
mutated from its earliest incarnation to become the Bastard Son Of
HTML that you are viewing right now.
The basis of this site is a collection of scrap books called Chronikles
that pOoTer
has been keeping since the early 1980’s.
Chronikles comprised of
gig reviews, posters, magazine clippings, flyers, tickets, handbills
etc and will all one day get scanned in and end up on this site........we
hope!!
Although we have been online since 1993 we only launched this site
on 22nd October 2000 after
many arguments and beatings related to when we should ‘go live’
We started putting this thing together in January
2000 and because we are so inept and slow, it took us 9 further
months to actually get our shit together and unleash pOoTers pSycheDelic
shacK on an unsuspecting
world.
When we launched there was around 120
pages of pSycheDelic wAckiNess
and this quickly snowballed into what you are now looking at. Because
we are so inept, slow (and busy) it will most likely take us several
years before we get all the archive material online because once
we have finished posting up pOoTers
material we will then start on Mush
O’Rune’s Goldmine.
This jewel encrusted stockpile of psychedelic ephemera has been
slowly growing since the late sixties and will blow this site into
the stratosphear once we start posting it up.
In October 2001 Pooterland celebrated it’s 1st Birthday
by publishing it’s 277th page
after a year of furious updates, server crashes and all round chaos.
2002 promises to be even better, so stay tuned and make Pooterland
your Home Page NOW!!!
