We take great pleasure in announcing a new writer to pOoTers pSycheDelic shAcK........
Doctor Dark
A mysterious dweller of the shadows and known ally to the Dark Side. Doctor Dark’s immense knowledge of Krautrock and West Coast Acid Rock, along with his love of Classic Psychedelia and Progressive Rock more than qualifies him for his prolific outpourings in the Bands Index where he delivers a constant stream of reviews of classic albums.
Also known as Pooterland’s leading authority on Bat Chain Pullers and Kandy Korn.
Look out for his work elsewhere on the
site because he has broken out of the album reviews room we had him locked up in and he is now running amok.....
He was spotted recently amongst the dark shadows deep in Pooterland so who knows where he will
strike next....!!!
It is a great honour to have him aboard and I'm sure you will join me in wishing him a Long Strange Trip at Pooterland.

5. Happy Birthday...
You must all sing Happy Birthday to pOoTers pSycheDelic shAcK 'cos on the 22nd October it was our 1st Birthday!!!
YES, your beloved Day Glo Pooterland is now officially One Year Old.
pOoTers pSycheDelic shAcK launched on the 22nd October 2000 with
120 pages of loosely assembled junk and one year later we still have a loosely assembled pile of junk, but it's now grown to 283
pages, our mailing list has doubled in size and we regularly get over 40,000 page hits a month.
Many of you have, and still continue to send in all sorts of material such as Album reviews, Top Tens, Band
Info, Lightshow details and other cool things like comic books, Pez Dispensers, Novels and Fridge Magnets!!
We have made a lot of friends along the way and have interviewed many bands and people from the Psych
scene.
We would also like to thank all the record labels that have submitted Vinyl and CD's to us over the last 12 months for review, we have been honoured to spread the word about the many new and exciting psych
bands from all around the world.
Thank you to all the people who we have traded with over the last 12 months, together we have shared and swapped some mind blowing music.
pOoTer would like to extend a special thanks to the Pooterland Crew,
who have contributed hours and hours of their free time to help with editing and writing articles for this website.

greatful for all your help and look forward to another fine year at Pooterland.com
