Howdy All,
A big HELLO from all of us at pOoTers pSycheDelic shAcK and thank you to everyone for subscribing to this newsletter.
Things are looking up here at pOoTers pSycheDelic shAcK and although pOoTer was taken ill again recently, we are back in the hot seat with many exiting things in
the pipeline for 2001.
Our only problem is finding the time to get everything done, we do have some new things being developed as well as Version 3 of the site which we are currently re-writing.
So, keep
coming back and stay with us for what is going to be a BIG growth year for the site!!

2. 5000 Users can't be wrong !!!!
135 days after our launch on 22nd October 2000, we played host to our 5000th visitor late on Tuesday 6th March. Although this is not our first web venture, we are still quite excited about reaching this milestone and it speaks for itself, showing that we are getting over 1100 visitors per month!!
All of us here at pOoTers pSycheDelic shAcK would like to say a big thank you to all our visitors, both old and new for sticking with us, through what has been a difficult time for us, what with illness and software problems.

3. Pooterland wins awards
Many
of you know that pooterland.com is involved in a daily contest hosted by Music Search.com to find the 'Music Site Of The Day'. This involves visitors to our site clicking
on a voting button at the bottom of our Index page which then records the vote at Music Search.com. On Tuesday 6th March we not only received the highest amount of votes in our category (Reference) but we also
received the highest votes over all the categories and went on to become 'Music Site Of The Day' overall winners with 134 votes!!! For this we received 2 awards that you can now see on our Index page.
This resulted in us having our busiest day yet, with 74 people hitting Pooterland.com during Monday!!.
If you were one of the many that voted for us....THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

4. New Stuff
Lightshow Index - What we believe is the ONLY Lightshow Index in the world, has gone from strength to strength over the last few weeks.
It
is still one of most popular site sections and notable additions include new biography's on the Crab Nebula Lightshow (UK), Planet Om Lights (UK) and our first French lightshow, Android.
We also have an exclusive interview with 'Lightshow' Bob Pullum from Brotherhood Of Light (USA). There have also been minor additions for many other lightshows during the last few weeks.
Bands Index - A lot of new bands have been added to the Bands Index recently, you have probably noticed we are going through alphabetically and adding bands as we go, as well as many new reviews. We received a nice review of Love's 'Forever Changes' from a Drag Racer in England, other reviews we would like to mention are:
