Howdy All,
A big HELLO from all of us at pOoTers pSycheDelic shAcK and thank you to everyone for subscribing to this newsletter.
I think we have finally cleared the backlog now and as you know the site has has a facelift recently. Thanks to everyone who emailed us saying how much they liked the changes!! This means we can concentrate
on bringing you the new features we have in store for you.

2. Pooterland - The Second Coming
On April 1st we uploaded the 'new look' pOoTers pSycheDelic shAcK which I hope you have all had a chance to look at. Most of the changes were cosmetic but we also took the opportunity to redesign some areas to make your visits easier.
New and modified things included:
Re-styled Index page
Navigation buttons
New 3D page titles
New colour schemes
Archive section for old News and What's New pages.
We also killed off sHacK cEnTral as it was not getting much traffic and moved some of the items from there to individual pages, such as What's On The Pooterland Turntable? and Who Lives At The sHacK?. The Statistics page also went as it was too time consuming doing this manually. We are looking into finding an online 'Livestats' version of this.

3. New Stuff
Lightshow Index -
This has had a major facelift as part of the recent overhaul and now has ticker tape showing how many Lightshows are listed (if you have JavaScript enabled) A couple more have been added so we now have 136 Lightshows in the Index.
Bands Index -
Many new bands have been added and we have nearly completed our second round of adding bands (I think we are now on 'R'). These additions have nearly
doubled the amount of bands that we have listed. Several new reviews have been added and we would like to make mention of a couple of new additions on the Cranium Music label from New Zealand:
[sh-man-tra] - Cornucopia (eclectic and original psych)
Lamp Of The Universe - The Cosmic Union (Top notch eastern flavoured psych)
Wanted - Lots of new adverts have come in over recent weeks, with people selling as well as wanting stuff. As always, if you can help these people out, drop 'em an email.
Charts - A couple of new charts have been sent in this month to add to the already large list we have.
ICQ -
We are experimenting with an online chat program called ICQ that many of you may have heard of. It will enable our visitors to chat with the Pooterland Crew live if we are online. There are indicators on the Index page and the Contact page as well as a new ICQ page that show our online status. Check them out and if they are flashing and you have ICQ , drop in and have a chat!!
Contact Us - The Contact page has been changed around a bit too and we now have our new PO Box details posted up. Please use this address if you want to post us CD's for review and any other goodies that you can't get to us via email.

now archiving these each month and putting them into Thee
Archivez. Go here to check up on old news if you have not visited
us for a while.
