Ecto Plasmic Assault,

GoddaMatch

Ectoplasmic Assault Lightshow was started by Max Andersen and Gloria Gribling in North Vancouver, British Columbia.

They ran a club called THE LIGHT FANTASTIC on 3rd and Lonsdale during 1966 and 1967.

They moved to Vancouver and worked many venues in the city including the Retinal Circus which was formerly Dante’s Inferno.

The other main Light Show at Retinal Circus was Addled Cromish.

When Ectoplasmic Assault reloacted to Victoria Bob Montgomery from Florida came onboard and did some more shows as Ecto Plasmic Assault before renaming the Light Show to GoddaMatch.

Five people were involved using 3 film projectors, 22 slide projectors, 5 overheads, and some motorized effects.

The equipment from Ecto Plasmic Assault/GoddaMatch was later passed onto Greg Evans from Acid Rain Light Show

If you can help with more information about this Light Show we would love to hear from you.
