KINETIC COLLAGE, a lightshow created in June 1981 by Greg Lloyd (formerly of JELLY WALL EYES PACK of LOVE STREET LIGHT CICUS & FEEL GOOD MACHINE circa 1967 - 1969, Houston, Texas).

Greg moved to San Diego in 1971, and did light shows at several clubs.

Finally, in 1981, he got enough gear to do the show he envisioned, and named his light show Kinetic Collage (KC).

KC's primary equipment consisted of 4 overhead projectors (with strobing flaps), 2 kaleidoscope projectors, 2 slide projectors and a super 8mm movie projector. Strobe lights, color wheels, strobe wheels and other special optical effects rounded out the show.

Kinetic Collage continued adapting to advances in technology to allow a single visual artist to create what it took 4 or 5 performers to do in the past. Now, besides a wide variety of pre-recorded optical effects with digital video treatments, KC includes computer generated effects.

By using DVDs, a video mixer along with live camera capture and video projectors the show has become bigger, brighter and better than ever. And still intensely psychedelic.

Thanks for maintaining your site and including psychedelic light shows.

Best regards. -g
